I buy an English gardens calendar for my study wall each year, and this might be the nicest yet:1. The photos of some of England's best gardens, as well as less-well-known ones are breathtaking. Masses of flowers in well-designed settings; the March photo of Chenies Manor's spring bulb display in the sunken garden is one I might frame and keep.
2. The layout of the days of the month is correct; that is, Sunday is at the far left and Saturday on the far right -- not Saturday and Sunday beginning each week, as some European calendars seem to have. On more than one occasion I missed some event because I was confused about which day of the week it fell upon because of stupid Euro-calendars.
3. The locations of the gardens are given at the bottom of each page, which is rare among calendars.
Highly recommended -- I hope they continue publishing this one each year.

This is a beautiful calendar with very nice pictures and the calendar pages are white so it easy to write appointments and notes on them. A good deal all around.
All the pictures are beautifully photographed. You feel like you are actually in the garden. Even though I have a picture for a month it really cheers me up everyday since there is so much detail to look at.
