This was well done. The hero was not to my taste (he had too many a-hole moments to be redeemable in my opinion), but the story was interesting. I enjoyed the sci-fi/fantasy combination. One review said there was no "porn" in the book, and tbh I almost didn't get this because I appreciate a certain heat level in my books. There were some sexy-times in this, but before things got too explicit it went to "closed door", but I wasn't disappointed in it! I would have enjoyed it a lot more if the hero hadn't been such a douche, or if the heroine hadn't been such a sucker for his apologies. As it was, I enjoyed it anyway - so that's a pretty good recommendation!

I really appreciated that this book was free of porn. It had an interesting story line and characters. It needs some editing and review in order to be one of the best, but a decent first book. Hopefully, she continues on with the series.
This was a new author for me and despite it being PG I gave it a try. I enjoyed it despite the lack of racy scenes. The MC was strong and kind. I liked the different types of aliens and especially the Renditions. I am eager to see what's going on next in the series.
